Telecom Namibia Backs Miss Namibia and Miss Teen Namibia 2026 with Public Choice SSponsorship. Telecom Namibia has announced its support for the 2026 Miss Namibia and Miss Teen Namibia competitions by sponsoring the Public Choice Voting category and providing smartphones for the winners of the public vote.

The sponsorship forms part of the company’s commitment to supporting initiatives that recognise the talent, confidence and potential of young Namibians.

As part of the partnership, Telecom Namibia will sponsor the Public Choice Voting category during the Miss Namibia and Miss Teen Namibia 2026 crowning ceremonies. The company has also donated smartphones that will be presented to the Public Choice winners.

The official handover of the sponsored devices took place between Telecom Namibia and the Namibian Broadcasting Corporation (NBC), with Telecom Namibia Head of Corporate Communication and Public Relations Nomvula Kambinda presenting the smartphones to NBC Chief Commercial Officer Nico Mwiya.

The sponsorship supports the public voting component of the pageants, giving Namibians an opportunity to participate by voting for their preferred contestants in both competitions.

Telecom Namibia said the partnership reflects its commitment to initiatives that provide platforms for young people to showcase their abilities while encouraging confidence and personal development.

The company also extended its best wishes to all finalists participating in this year’s Miss Namibia and Miss Teen Namibia competitions and expressed appreciation to members of the public who will take part in the voting process and support the contestants throughout the event.

The Miss Namibia and Miss Teen Namibia pageants bring together contestants from across the country, with participants competing for the national titles through various stages leading up to the crowning ceremonies.

Through its sponsorship of the Public Choice category, Telecom Namibia is supporting greater public participation in the competitions while recognising the contestants who receive the strongest backing from voters.
