Telecom Namibia Extends Armando Perny’s Acting CEO Appointment Until January 2027. Telecom Namibia’s Board of Directors has extended the acting appointment of Armando Perny as Acting Chief Executive Officer for a further six months, ensuring continuity in the company’s leadership while it continues to pursue its strategic objectives.

The extended appointment will take effect on 1 August 2026 and will run until 31 January 2027.According to Telecom Namibia, the decision was taken to maintain leadership stability as the company continues implementing its strategic priorities and strengthening its operational performance.

The state-owned telecommunications provider said the extension will support the continued delivery of its mandate to provide reliable telecommunications services to customers throughout Namibia.

Perny will remain at the helm of the organisation during the six-month period, overseeing the company’s operations as it advances its business objectives and service delivery commitments.

The Board said the extension provides continuity in executive leadership while Telecom Namibia continues to focus on improving operational performance and executing its strategic plans.

The company has not announced any further changes to its executive leadership structure as part of the extension.

Telecom Namibia plays a key role in providing telecommunications services across the country, with its operations supporting connectivity for residential customers, businesses and public institutions.

By extending Perny’s acting appointment, the Board aims to ensure continuity in the company’s leadership during the implementation of its ongoing strategic initiatives.

The decision comes as Telecom Namibia continues working towards its operational and business priorities while maintaining its focus on delivering telecommunications services across Namibia.
