Namibia Shines at International Jiu-Jitsu Competition with 19-Medal Triumph. Namibia’s young athletes delivered a stellar performance at the International AJP Jiu-Jitsu Competition held in South Africa last weekend, proudly earning a total of 19 medals — nine gold, nine silver, and one bronze.

Representing Z1 Academy Namibia under the expert mentorship of Professor Nilson Coelho, the 19-member team demonstrated exceptional skill, discipline, and teamwork against strong international opponents. Their remarkable showing secured Namibia second place overall among all participating nations — a milestone achievement for the country’s martial arts community.

The competition tested both physical strength and mental focus, but the Namibian athletes rose to the challenge with unwavering determination.
