NamPower Supports Oshana School of Computing with Digital Learning Tools. NamPower has reinforced its commitment to education by donating a digital photocopier machine valued at N$38,500 to the Oshana Secondary School of Computing. The initiative aims to enhance educational resources and support teaching and administrative functions at the school.
For years, the school has faced challenges with facilities, particularly the lack of duplicating machines, which has affected both teaching and administrative efficiency. The new digital photocopier is expected to address this gap, enabling staff to reproduce educational materials, including formative and summative assessments, more effectively.
Principal Andreas Angula expressed his gratitude for the donation, highlighting the immediate impact it will have on the learning environment. “This contribution will greatly enhance the learning experience for our students, ensuring they have access to modern educational tools, resources, and materials,” he said. The school anticipates that improved access to these resources will streamline administrative tasks and allow teachers to focus more on delivering quality education.
NamPower’s donation forms part of its ongoing efforts to invest in Namibia’s education sector. The electricity provider has consistently supported schools and educational institutions across the country, with initiatives that aim to equip learners with the skills and tools necessary for future success.
The company reaffirmed its pledge to continue creating an enabling environment for learners and educators alike. NamPower’s leadership emphasized that as resources allow, it will maintain its focus on initiatives that contribute to the growth and development of Namibia’s next generation.
With this donation, the Oshana Secondary School of Computing is now better positioned to provide a modern, resource-rich learning environment, reflecting NamPower’s broader vision of empowering communities through strategic investments in education.
