NamPower Celebrates Strong Medal Haul at Public Enterprises GGames. NamPower has celebrated a successful showing at the 11th edition of the Public Enterprises Games after its employees secured multiple medals across several sporting disciplines during the competition held in Rundu from 2 to 4 July 2026.

The utility said its employees competed in six sports codes: soccer, volleyball, tug of war, darts, pool and athletics. The participation reflected the organisation’s focus on teamwork, excellence and healthy competition.

One of the standout achievements came from NamPower’s volleyball team, which successfully defended its title by winning the gold medal for the 11th consecutive Public Enterprises Games. The latest victory extends the team’s unbeaten run at the annual competition and marks another milestone in its long-standing success.

NamPower also celebrated gold in the pool competition after its team defeated NamRA in the final to secure the top prize.The company’s soccer team finished as runners-up to claim the silver medal following a strong campaign throughout the tournament.

Additional podium finishes came in other events, with the netball team earning a bronze medal. NamPower also secured bronze in the men’s 4×100-metre relay, while athlete Immolencia Kauandenge finished third in the women’s 10-kilometre marathon.The results capped off a productive tournament for NamPower, with athletes collecting medals across multiple sporting codes.

In congratulating the participants, NamPower recognised the efforts of both its athletes and coaches, praising their commitment, determination and sportsmanship throughout the games. The company said the performances reflected the dedication of its employees both on and off the field.
