Namibia Tourism Board Opens Applications for Major 2026 Tourism Trade Events in South Africa. The Namibia Tourism Board (NTB) has invited all registered tourism trade partners to apply for participation in a series of major tourism events scheduled to take place in South Africa in 2026.

According to the Board, the call for applications is aimed at ensuring Namibian tourism businesses are represented at key continental platforms that bring together buyers, sellers and industry stakeholders from across Africa and beyond. Participation at these events provides opportunities for engagement within the tourism trade environment.

The first event listed is Meetings Africa 2026, which will be held in Johannesburg from 23 to 25 February 2026. Meetings Africa is a business events trade show focused on meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions.

This will be followed by World Travel Market Africa 2026, scheduled to take place in Cape Town from 28 February to 1 March 2026. The event brings together tourism professionals, destinations and service providers to connect with international and regional buyers.

The third event is Africa’s Travel Indaba 2026, which will be hosted in Durban from 11 to 14 May 2026. Africa’s Travel Indaba is one of the continent’s largest tourism marketing platforms and attracts participants from across the global travel industry.

The Namibia Tourism Board has encouraged registered trade partners to submit their applications promptly to secure participation at these events. The Board noted that applications must be completed using the official application form.

Interested trade partners can download the application form from the Namibia Tourism Board’s website at www.visitnamibia.com.na.
