Lt. Gen. Ndaitwah Inspires Learners to Lead with Discipline and Purpose. Delta Secondary School in Windhoek hosted an inspiring session today as Lt. Gen. Epafras Denga Ndaitwah, the First Gentleman of the Republic of Namibia and a strong advocate for boy child inclusion, met with Grade 11 and 12 learners ahead of the 2025 National Examinations.
Addressing the students, Lt. Gen. Ndaitwah delivered a powerful message about leadership, discipline, and personal responsibility. “Leadership is about doing the right things, management is about doing things right,” he told the learners, urging them to stay focused and take ownership of their future.
He encouraged the youth to work hard, remain disciplined, and take full advantage of national opportunities such as free tertiary education and youth development programmes. “Discipline starts at home,” he emphasized, calling on young men in particular to “be seen, make your mark.”
Hon. Dino Ballotti, Deputy Minister of Education, Innovation, Youth, Sports, Arts, and Culture, who is also an alumnus of Delta Secondary School, joined the session with words of motivation for the final-year learners. “Put on your geek mode, ghost mode, and beast mode — this is your last stretch,” he said, reinforcing the need for commitment and excellence in education as a pathway to nation-building.
Lt. Gen. Ndaitwah concluded the session by reminding learners that challenges are part of growth, saying, “There is no challenge without any opportunity. Let’s seize every opportunity and rise to the challenge.”
The event served as both an academic and moral boost for the learners as they prepare for examinations, reinforcing the importance of discipline, resilience, and leadership in shaping Namibia’s next generation.
