Telecom Namibia Revises Teleshop Operating Hours for Worker’s Day

Telecom Namibia Revises Teleshop Operating Hours for Worker’s Day. Telecom Namibia has announced changes to the operating hours of its teleshops in observance of Worker’s Day, which falls on Thursday, 1 May 2025. The telecommunications provider issued a public notice informing customers of the temporary adjustments affecting its retail operations.

According to the notice, all standalone teleshops will be closed for the duration of the public holiday. However, mall-based teleshops will operate in accordance with the trading hours of their respective malls. Customers are advised that closure times for these locations may vary depending on individual mall policies.

The company confirmed that regular business operations will resume across all teleshops on Friday, 2 May 2025. The management expressed appreciation for the public’s understanding and extended well wishes to all Namibians for a safe and meaningful Worker’s Day.

Worker’s Day, also known as International Labour Day, is celebrated annually on 1 May to honour the contributions of workers and promote labour rights. Telecom Namibia’s operational changes reflect the company’s observance of the national holiday while maintaining limited customer support through its mall-based locations.

Customers requiring assistance on the day are encouraged to plan accordingly, visit open teleshops where applicable, or make use of the company’s digital platforms for basic services and enquiries.
