Team Namibia Set for Key Matches at Region 5 Youth Games on 9 July. Excitement is building as Team Namibia returns to action today, 9 July 2025, in two highly anticipated fixtures at the ongoing Region 5 Youth Games. Hosted at the Windhoek Show Grounds, today’s matches will feature Namibia’s young talents in both basketball and indoor volleyball as they face off against strong regional opponents.
First on the schedule is the U/16 Girls Basketball match between Namibia and South Africa, set to tip off at 15:00 and run until 16:30. This fixture promises fast-paced action as Namibia seeks to build momentum and test their skills against one of the top contenders in the tournament.
Later in the evening, attention will shift to the Indoor Volleyball Boys, where Namibia will meet Malawi on the court from 17:00 to 18:30. With the tournament progressing rapidly, every point and set could make a critical difference in team standings.
