Old Mutual Foundation to Host Youth Indaba 3.0 in Northern Namibia. The Old Mutual Foundation has announced that its Youth Indaba 3.0 will take place on 12 February 2026 in northern Namibia, bringing together young people for discussions focused on learning, skills development, and pathways to earning.
The event is scheduled to be held at the University of Namibia’s Hifikepunye Pohamba Campus in Ongwediva. It forms part of the Foundation’s ongoing engagement with youth issues and platforms aimed at creating space for dialogue on topics relevant to young people’s futures.
According to the announcement, Youth Indaba 3.0 will centre on conversations exploring the connection between learning and earning, with an emphasis on how education and skills can translate into sustainable livelihoods. The Indaba is expected to provide an opportunity for young people to engage with ideas around building long-term economic futures.
The Youth Indaba series has previously served as a platform for discussion, knowledge sharing, and engagement between youth, practitioners, and stakeholders. The 2026 edition marks the third instalment of the initiative and its first scheduled appearance in northern Namibia.
Organisers indicated that tickets for the event will be made available through Webtickets, with further details expected to be released closer to the event date. Interested participants have been encouraged to monitor official channels for updates regarding ticket availability and programme information.
The choice of Ongwediva as the host location reflects a focus on regional inclusion, allowing young people in the northern regions to participate in the Youth Indaba platform. The University of Namibia campus provides a setting aligned with the event’s learning-focused theme.
The Old Mutual Foundation stated that the Indaba aims to foster meaningful conversations among young people around education, skills, and future opportunities. The event is positioned as a forum for insight and engagement, contributing to ongoing discussions on youth development in Namibia.
