Oshigambo Primary School Celebrates New Classrooms and FFacilities. Learners at Oshigambo Primary School will now benefit from improved learning conditions following the inauguration of a new classroom block and ablution facilities. The ceremony was officiated by Hon. Dino Ballotti, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Education, Innovation, Youth, Sports, Arts and Culture (MEIYSAC).

Addressing the gathering, Hon. Ballotti commended the Oshigambo community for their proactive role in the project, describing their contribution as a true example of nation‑building. He encouraged learners to work hard, dream big, and embrace the opportunities that quality education provides, reminding them that Namibia’s future begins in the classroom.

The four modern classrooms were constructed under the Basic Education Facilities Programme, reaffirming Government’s commitment to providing quality learning environments for every Namibian learner. The new facilities are expected to ease overcrowding and enhance teaching and learning outcomes.

The event also celebrated an inspiring example of community partnership. Parents, volunteers, and local leaders came together to build much‑needed ablution facilities for the school. Their collective effort demonstrates how sustainable development can be achieved when Government and communities work hand in hand.

Hon. Ballotti emphasized that such initiatives reflect the shared responsibility of all stakeholders in strengthening Namibia’s education system.
