Vice President Lucia Witbooi Begins Omaheke Visit with Stop in Epukiro Post 3

Vice President Lucia Witbooi Begins Omaheke Visit with Stop in Epukiro Post 3. Vice President Lucia Witbooi has arrived in Epukiro Post 3 as part of a week-long visit to the Omaheke Region, marking the start of a series of engagements in the area.

During her visit, the Vice President is expected to meet with members of marginalised and vulnerable communities within the constituency. The engagements are intended to provide an opportunity for direct interaction and to better understand local circumstances and needs.

As part of the programme, Vice President Witbooi will also officiate a groundbreaking ceremony for a housing project in Epukiro. The initiative involves the construction of 40 houses for members of the San community and is being implemented by the N/aankuse Foundation.

The housing project represents a collaborative effort aimed at providing structured residential support within the constituency. The groundbreaking ceremony will formally mark the start of construction activities for the planned homes.

Epukiro Post 3 is one of the localities included in the Vice President’s regional itinerary. Her broader visit to Omaheke is expected to include multiple community engagements and official activities over the course of the week.

The visit highlights ongoing outreach by national leadership to communities across the region. By combining direct community interaction with participation in development initiatives, the programme brings together social engagement and project support within a single regional visit.

Further activities related to the Vice President’s itinerary in Omaheke are expected to continue in the coming days as scheduled engagements unfold across the region.
