Kalkrand Clean-Up Operation Launched to Support Youth and Community Environment. Hardap Region Governor Riaan McNab has officially launched the Kalkrand Clean-up Operation under the Cash-for-Work programme of the Office of the Governor, in collaboration with the Kalkrand Village Council.

The initiative brings together 150 youth volunteers who will take part in a village-wide clean-up effort. The campaign forms part of a broader approach to community improvement while creating temporary work opportunities for young people.

During the launch, the focus was placed on improving the local environment through organised waste removal and general cleaning activities across Kalkrand.
