NamPower Dominates 2025 Public Enterprises Games in Swakopmund. NamPower emerged as the overall winner of the 2025 Public Enterprises (PE) Games, held in Swakopmund, Namibia. The team, proudly sporting green and gold, demonstrated athletic excellence and team spirit throughout the multi-day event.
The annual PE Games bring together employees from various state-owned enterprises to compete across a range of sports and foster camaraderie and wellness among public sector staff. This year, NamPower stood out by securing four gold medals and one silver.
Gold medals were earned in both the men’s and ladies’ 4×100 metre relay events, as well as in volleyball and the ladies’ marathon. Their performance in darts added to their medal tally, with a silver medal reflecting the team’s versatility and competitive edge.
The event saw enthusiastic participation from numerous public enterprises, with hundreds of employees gathering to represent their organisations and support their colleagues. While competition was fierce, the spirit of unity and mutual encouragement was a defining feature of the games.
