Windhoek Council Approves Environmental Partnership With WWWF. The Municipal Council of Windhoek has approved a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) as part of efforts to advance sustainable development and environmental stewardship in the city.

The decision was taken during an ordinary council meeting held on Thursday, 5 February 2026.
