Miss Namibia Winners Receive Investment Accounts from NamPost. Miss Namibia Johanna Swartbooi and her two runners-up have received investment accounts from NamPost as part of their prizes, recognising their achievements in the national pageant.
Johanna Swartbooi, who holds the Miss Namibia title, received an investment account with a deposit of NAD 30,000. First Runner-up Uatjiri Mbaisa was awarded an investment account valued at NAD 15,000, while Second Runner-up Tuilika Andreas received an investment account with a deposit of NAD 5,000.
The handover ceremony was conducted by Gladwin Groenewaldt, Manager for Corporate Marketing and Communications and Chairperson of the NamPost Corporate Social Responsibility and Sponsorships Committee, together with Beaulah Boois-Beukes, NBC Acting Head of Public Relations and Marketing and Miss Namibia National Director.
The presentation of investment accounts formed part of NamPost’s support for the Miss Namibia platform, which brings together stakeholders from various sectors. The investment accounts provide the recipients with a financial asset linked to their pageant achievements.
NamPost’s involvement reflects its participation in initiatives that extend beyond its core postal and financial services, through structured sponsorships and corporate social responsibility programmes. The organisation regularly partners with national platforms to support development-oriented initiatives.
The Miss Namibia pageant is a nationally recognised event that highlights leadership, public engagement, and representation. The awarding of investment accounts adds a financial component to the prizes associated with the competition.
The ceremony brought together representatives from NamPost and the Miss Namibia organisation, marking the official transfer of the prizes to the titleholders. The amounts deposited into the respective accounts were confirmed at the event.
