FNB Namibia Donates N$500,000 to Support Brave Warriors’ World Cup Qualification Campaign

FNB Namibia Donates N$500,000 to Support Brave Warriors’ World Cup Qualification Campaign. FNB Namibia has announced a financial contribution of N$500,000 to support the Brave Warriors’ 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification campaign. The announcement was made by FNB Namibia’s Retail CEO, Nangula Kauluma, earlier today.

The contribution will go towards the upcoming fundraising gala dinner, scheduled to take place on 2 August 2025. The dinner forms part of a broader effort by the Namibia Football Association’s Qualification Committee, which is aiming to raise a total of N$9.6 million to support the national team’s journey through the World Cup qualifying stages.

Kauluma stated that the bank’s contribution reflects its commitment to national pride and the development of sports in Namibia. “We believe in the power of football to unite the nation and uplift the spirit of our people,” she said. “Our support for the Brave Warriors is rooted in our belief in what they represent both on and off the pitch.”

The Brave Warriors’ qualification journey is a significant moment for Namibian football, requiring extensive financial and logistical backing. The funds raised will assist with travel, accommodation, training, and match preparation costs.

The gala dinner is expected to attract various stakeholders, including members of the business community, sports officials, and supporters of the national team. Organisers hope the event will rally further corporate and public support as the campaign intensifies.

The Brave Warriors remain a symbol of resilience and national pride, and the backing from institutions like FNB Namibia reinforces the growing momentum behind their World Cup dream.
