Agribank and DSIK Sign MoU to Boost Agricultural Development in Namibia. Agribank of Namibia has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sparkassenstiftung für Internationale Kooperation (DSIK) to advance sustainable growth and financial literacy in the country’s agricultural sector. The agreement was signed this morning, marking a collaborative step aimed at strengthening rural economies and building resilient farming enterprises.

The partnership seeks to empower Namibian farmers and agribusinesses by introducing business simulations and targeted capacity-building programmes. These initiatives are designed to enhance financial knowledge, improve decision-making, and promote sustainability in agricultural operations. By integrating practical training with long-term development objectives, the collaboration aims to support farmers in adopting strategies that secure their livelihoods while contributing to the nation’s economic progress.

Agribank has long positioned itself as a key player in agricultural financing, offering loans and support services to emerging and established farmers.
