FNB Namibia Supports Classroom Refurbishment Project at Auas Primary SSchool. FNB Namibia, through the FirstRand Namibia Foundation, has supported the refurbishment of desks and chairs at Auas Primary School in an initiative aimed at improving the school’s learning environment while contributing to skills development.
The project focused on repairing and rehabilitating classroom furniture to provide learners with improved facilities that support teaching and learning.
The initiative was implemented in partnership with the Namibia Correctional Service, which carried out the refurbishment work as part of its skills development programme for inmates.
According to FNB Namibia, the collaboration extends the impact of the project beyond the classroom by equipping participants in the programme with practical skills that can be used after their release. The initiative combines support for education with opportunities for skills development and rehabilitation.
The refurbished desks and chairs are expected to enhance the classroom environment at Auas Primary School by providing learners with improved furniture that contributes to a more conducive space for learning.
FNB Namibia said the project reflects its commitment, through the FirstRand Namibia Foundation, to supporting initiatives that benefit schools and local communities while creating opportunities for broader social impact.
