Namibian Athletes Shine with Triple Gold at Africa Triathlon Cup. Namibian athletes delivered a standout performance at the Ebotse Africa Triathlon Cup, securing three gold medals in youth and junior categories. The victories underscored the country’s growing presence in regional triathlon competitions.
In the junior men’s category, Nathan Chase claimed gold, while his younger brother Micah Chase took top honours in the youth boys category. Adding to Namibia’s success, Emma Brinkmann won gold in the youth girls category, completing a remarkable trio of victories for the team.
Other Namibian athletes also competed across various divisions. In the elite women’s category, Maja Brinkmann finished 12th. The junior women’s category saw Kyra Marschall place 9th and Jana Mutschler 12th. In the junior men’s category, James Langford came 8th and Finn Middleton 12th. Meanwhile, in the youth boys category, Hendrie Mutschler finished 12th and Kyle Middleton 17th.
The results highlight Namibia’s depth of talent, with strong performances across age groups and categories. The three gold medals mark a significant achievement for the athletes, reflecting both individual dedication and the growing support for triathlon development in the country.
