Brave Warriors Earn N$450,000 in Bonuses for World Cup Qualifier Victory

Brave Warriors Earn N$450,000 in Bonuses for World Cup Qualifier Victory. The Brave Warriors have been rewarded with a total of N$450,000 in winning bonuses following their 3-0 triumph over São Tomé and Príncipe in the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers. The announcement was made by the Brave Warriors World Cup Campaign Committee.

According to the Committee, each of the 24 players in the match-day squad received N$15,000 for their performance. The nine-member technical team was also recognised for their contribution, with each member receiving N$10,000.

In addition, six locally based players who participated in the four-week training camp but were not included in the final travelling squad received N$1,000 each, acknowledging their effort and commitment during preparations.

The financial rewards come at a crucial time as Namibia looks to build momentum for its remaining fixtures. The Brave Warriors will face Liberia and Tunisia away in October 2025 in their final group-stage matches. With six points still up for grabs, Namibia remains focused on securing results that could pave the way into the decisive play-off round.

The bonus payments underscore the importance of morale and motivation within the national team setup. By recognising both players and technical staff, the Campaign Committee has reinforced a sense of unity and collective achievement, while also sending a clear message of support ahead of the challenging away fixtures.

As the Brave Warriors prepare for the decisive October encounters, the rewards serve not only as recognition of their latest victory but also as a reminder of what is at stake: a potential historic qualification for the final play-offs of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
