Namibia’s Mining and Energy Leadership Transitions as Minister Alweendo and Deputy Minister Shilunga Conclude Terms. The Ministry of Mines and Energy is set for a leadership transition as the terms of Honourable Tom Alweendo, Minister of Mines and Energy, and Honourable Kornelia Shilunga, Deputy Minister, come to an end.

During their tenure, Alweendo and Shilunga played key roles in overseeing Namibia’s mining and energy sectors, focusing on transparency, innovation, and sustainable development.
