Namibia Announces June Fuel Price Reductions Across All Fuel Types. The Ministry of Industries, Mines and Energy has confirmed a nationwide decrease in fuel prices, set to take effect on Wednesday, 4 June 2025, following recorded over-recoveries across all fuel categories.

According to the official communication, the Ministry recorded over-recoveries of 36.467 cents per litre for petrol, 79.608 cents per litre for 50ppm diesel, and 87.383 cents per litre for 10ppm diesel. These figures indicate that the actual costs of importing fuel were significantly lower than the prices at which fuel was sold locally during the previous review period.

As a result, the Ministry has announced the following reductions:A decrease of 30 cents per litre for petrol.A decrease of 70 cents per litre for both 50ppm and 10ppm diesel.

In Walvis Bay, the revised price for 10ppm diesel will now be N$20.02 per litre. Fuel prices in other regions will be adjusted accordingly based on transport costs and logistics.

The Ministry emphasized that these price changes are part of its regular monthly fuel review process, designed to ensure that domestic pump prices align with global oil market trends and local economic conditions.

Fuel consumers across the country can expect to see these changes reflected at pumps starting from Wednesday, offering some relief to households, businesses, and transport operators. The Ministry reaffirmed its commitment to transparency and timely communication in its ongoing efforts to maintain fuel price stability.
