Namibia’s Beach Volleyball Team Set for U/21 World Championship in Mexico. Namibia’s Beach Volleyball team is gearing up to compete on the world stage at the FIVB Beach Volleyball U/21 World Championship in Mexico, where they will face opponents from 49 countries. The Namibia Sport Commission (NSC) held an official send-off ceremony on Thursday, marking a significant moment for the team as they prepare for departure on 11 October 2025. The championship is scheduled to run from 15 to 19 October 2025.
The four-member delegation representing Namibia includes players Jura Krafft and Max Krafft, accompanied by Martin Krafft, who serves as Manager and Head of Delegation, as well as Inka Krafft, responsible for media coverage.
Speaking at the ceremony, Martin Krafft emphasized the team’s rigorous preparation process, describing it as “huge training plans” designed to ensure the players are in peak condition ahead of the tournament. The preparations are aimed at not only competing but also showcasing Namibia’s potential in international volleyball.
