Namibia Set for WBO Africa Titles Redemption Night in Windhoek. The MTC Nestor Sunshine Boxing & Fitness Academy, in partnership with co-sponsor PstBet, has announced the hosting of a major boxing event titled “WBO Africa Titles Redemption” on 8 November 2025 at the Windhoek Country Club.
Speaking at the announcement on Tuesday, academy owner and promoter Nestor Tobias said the event will feature some of Namibia’s top boxing talent as they battle for continental recognition.
Leading the night’s fights will be Mateus “The Beast” Heita, who is set to face Benin’s Clement Leko for the vacant Featherweight Title. The bout comes just months after Heita’s high-profile loss in New York to Bruce Carrington in July, marking this as an important opportunity for redemption.
In the Middleweight Title fight, Namibia’s Paulinus “John John” Ndjolonimus will go head-to-head with South Africa’s Snamiso Ntuli. The card will also showcase Harry Simon Jnr, who is scheduled to meet the Democratic Republic of Congo’s Kamanga Paul in a 10-round international Welterweight bout.
The event, themed “No Pain, No Gain,” is positioned as one of Namibia’s biggest boxing nights of 2025. It is expected to draw both local and international attention, highlighting the country’s growing reputation as a hub for African boxing.
Tickets are already on sale, with general access priced at N$200 and VIP tables available at N$20,000. Organisers have emphasized that the night will deliver high-quality matchups and entertainment, while also creating a platform for Namibian boxers to test themselves against international opponents.
