However, Namibia regained control when JP Britz found the net a minute later from another short corner, followed by Cody van der Merwe’s field goal in the 19th minute, giving Namibia a 3-1 advantage at halftime.
Trinidad & Tobago mounted a strong comeback in the third quarter, leveling the score at 3-3 with goals from Teague Marcano and Jordan Vieira. Namibia, however, reclaimed their lead just before the end of the quarter thanks to a well-executed field goal by Dakota Hansen.
In the final quarter, Namibia intensified their attacks. JP Britz extended the lead with another short corner strike, and Nico Neethling secured the victory with a brilliant solo goal in the closing minutes, sealing a 6-3 triumph.
