Namibia and India Reaffirm Commitment to Implement Outcomes of 5th Foreign Office Consultation. Namibia and India have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation following high-level engagements held in New Delhi on 19 January 2026.

During a visit to the Indian capital to attend the 5th India-Namibia Foreign Office Consultation (FOC), Ambassador Charles B. Josob, Acting Head of Namibia’s Bilateral Department, paid a courtesy call on Mr. Sudhakar Dalela, Secretary (Economic Affairs) at the Ministry of External Affairs of the Republic of India.

The meeting provided an opportunity for both sides to reflect on the discussions and outcomes of the 5th FOC, which brought together officials from the two countries to review the state of bilateral relations. According to information shared following the engagement, both Namibia and India expressed satisfaction with the positive outcomes of the consultation and gave assurances that agreed areas of cooperation would be implemented swiftly.
