MIME Launches 24/7 Online Payment Platform. The Ministry of Industries, Mines and Energy (MIME) has announced the availability of a new secure and user-friendly online payment platform, providing stakeholders and prospective clients with round-the-clock access to essential services.
The platform, which is now live, enables users to conveniently process payments for licence and permit application fees, annual fees, and other related charges. By offering 24/7 accessibility, MIME aims to streamline service delivery and reduce reliance on in-person transactions, ensuring greater efficiency and convenience for clients across the country.
In its public announcement, the Ministry emphasized that the platform is designed to enhance transparency and accountability while supporting Namibia’s broader digital transformation agenda. The move reflects government’s commitment to modernizing service delivery and improving ease of doing business in the industries, mines, and energy sectors.
