Learners Give Back to Community Through Entrepreneurial Projects

Learners Give Back to Community Through Entrepreneurial Projects. Two Namibian schools have demonstrated the impact of youth-driven initiatives after learners from Noordgrens Senior Secondary School and Dr. Alpo Mbamba Senior Secondary School completed their Entrepreneurial Task 5 projects by giving back to children in their community.

The learners’ activities included cleaning, cutting, and washing the children’s hair, as well as donating clothing items and hygiene products. Their efforts not only provided immediate support but also brought a sense of dignity, care, and hope to the young beneficiaries. Organisers of the initiative commended the learners for their spirit of compassion and responsibility, noting that such acts reflect positively on the future leaders of the community.

The project received strong backing from stakeholders. FNB Namibia, the dedicated sponsor, was acknowledged for its continued support of programs that empower young people and uplift communities. The Ministry of Education, Innovation, Youth, Sports, Arts and Culture also played a pivotal role by availing the venue, enabling the learners to carry out their project successfully.

For local entrepreneurs and businesses, the initiative highlights the importance of corporate and community partnerships in nurturing a culture of service and responsibility among the youth. By encouraging learners to link entrepreneurship with social responsibility, these projects are planting seeds for future business leaders who are both innovative and socially conscious.

The event serves as a reminder that entrepreneurship is not solely about profit but also about creating positive social impact. The learners’ dedication has shown how even small contributions can transform lives and inspire others to act.

Stakeholders expressed pride in the learners’ achievements, emphasizing that initiatives like these strengthen communities while building a new generation of responsible citizens.
