FNB Namibia Boosts Windhoek Security with CCTV Investment. A major step toward enhancing public safety in the capital was marked today as FNB Namibia officially handed over advanced CCTV cameras and accessories to the City of Windhoek, representing a significant investment in the city’s security infrastructure.

During the handover, Rodney Forbes, Chief Operating Officer of FNB Namibia, commended the City’s Smart Policing Strategy and presented a symbolic cheque of N$569,202. Speaking on behalf of the City, Fillemon Neputa, Acting CEO and Strategic Executive for ICT, expressed appreciation for the bank’s support. He noted that the investment will sharpen the operational edge of the Windhoek City Police Service, strengthening law enforcement, improving evidence collection, and enabling quicker response times. Neputa highlighted that public safety is a key driver of economic growth and investor confidence in Windhoek.

Adam Eiseb, Deputy Head of Administration for the City Police, reminded attendees that public safety is a collective responsibility involving government, private partners, and the wider community. He stressed that the investment is aimed directly at protecting the people who sustain the city’s economy and acknowledged the long-standing partnership with FNB Namibia, which continues to grow stronger.
