Namibia Showcases Investment Vision at World Bank–IMF Meetings. Namibia’s investment outlook took center stage yesterday as Governor Ebson Uanguta participated in a closed-door Fireside Chat on Namibia’s Investment Vision, held on the margins of the ongoing World Bank–IMF Spring Meetings. The event was organized by Rimsom Global, a strategic advisory firm that connects capital, governments, and private sector stakeholders to emerging market opportunities.
The session brought together senior representatives from government, international financial institutions, and strategic investors. Discussions focused on Namibia’s economic outlook, fiscal priorities, and near-term bankable investment opportunities under the Sixth National Development Program (NDP6).
In his remarks, Governor Uanguta highlighted Namibia’s stable macroeconomic environment and strong institutional framework, noting that these fundamentals position the country as an increasingly attractive destination in the global economy. He pointed to transformative opportunities on the horizon that could unlock a new economy, emphasizing the importance of partnerships in realizing this potential.
