Namibia Showcases Regional Sports Award, Strengthens Youth CCollaboration. The Namibia Training Authority (NTA) has reaffirmed its strong working relationship with the Ministry of Education, Innovation, Youth, Sports, Arts and Culture through ongoing collaboration with the Ministry’s leadership and key stakeholders.
Recently, NTA Chief Executive Officer Mr. Erick Fundula Nengwanya joined Honourable Minister Dr. Sanet Steenkamp and Honourable Deputy Minister Dino Ballotti during the showcasing of Namibia’s Country of the Year award, received at the Regional Annual Sports Awards held in Luanda, Angola.
The award, officially collected on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Namibia by Deputy Minister Ballotti, was later shared with stakeholders in Windhoek as part of celebrating Namibia’s regional achievement and continued excellence in sport and youth development.
Speaking at the occasion, Mr. Nengwanya highlighted that the NTA values its ongoing cooperation with the Ministry in advancing national development priorities, youth empowerment, and skills development. He emphasized that partnerships of this nature are vital in ensuring that Namibia continues to build capacity and create opportunities for young people to thrive.
The event also underscored Namibia’s growing reputation in regional sports, with the award serving as recognition of the country’s commitment to excellence and innovation in youth and athletic development.
