Youth Directorate Charts Strategic Path in Swakopmund. Senior officials from the Directorate of Youth under the Ministry of Education, Innovation, Youth, Sports, Arts and Culture (MEIYSAC) have convened in Swakopmund for a five-day plenary session running from 20 to 24 April 2026.

The gathering brings together senior leadership, Senior Youth Officers, and Heads of Skills Training Centres to review the Directorate’s performance over the past year. The session is focused on evaluating progress against established targets and collaboratively defining strategic priorities and interventions for the 2026/27 financial year.

The plenary provides a platform for reflection and forward planning, ensuring that youth development initiatives remain aligned with national priorities. Discussions are expected to cover key areas such as skills training, innovation, and community empowerment, with an emphasis on strengthening delivery mechanisms and enhancing impact.
