Deadline Extended for NQF Level 7 ICT Certificates as Applications Remain Open

Deadline Extended for NQF Level 7 ICT Certificates as Applications Remain Open. Prospective students seeking advanced digital skills have been granted additional time to apply for specialised technology training programmes offered through Namibia University of Science and Technology.

The extension was announced by INCEIT, which confirmed that the application and registration deadline has been moved to 20 February 2026 for all NQF Level 7 certificate programmes.

The revised timeline gives applicants more time to prepare documentation and secure placement in programmes with limited available seats. Officials said the extension aims to support wider participation in specialised information and communication technology training focused on emerging digital capabilities.

Three certificate programmes are included in the current intake, covering Big Data Technologies, Ethical Hacking and Information Security, and Advanced Web Technologies. The courses are structured to develop specialised technical competencies aligned with evolving industry requirements across data management, cybersecurity, and modern web development environments.

Programme organisers noted that professional training at this level is intended to strengthen workforce readiness and enhance technical knowledge among participants pursuing advanced computing expertise.

Applicants are required to submit their forms online before the revised deadline, with registration scheduled to close on the same date. The institution emphasised that places remain limited, encouraging prospective candidates to complete applications promptly to secure consideration for admission.

The training initiative forms part of ongoing efforts to expand access to advanced digital skills development within Namibia. Organisers said the programmes are designed to equip participants with practical knowledge applicable in rapidly evolving technology sectors, reflecting growing demand for specialised expertise.

Interested individuals can access further information and submit applications through the official online platform, where programme details and requirements are provided for prospective applicants. Educational leaders indicated that extending the deadline supports broader access to specialised training opportunities, while allowing applicants additional time to prepare and finalise participation in the upcoming academic intake cycle period for enrolment consideration processes.
