Education Executive Director Urges Reflection and Resilience at Release of 2025 NSSCO and NSSCAS Results

Education Executive Director Urges Reflection and Resilience at Release of 2025 NSSCO and NSSCAS Results. The Executive Director of Education, Innovation, Arts and Culture, Mr. Mbumba Erastus Haitengela, has described the release of the 2025 provisional NSSCO and NSSCAS examination results as a key moment in Namibia’s education calendar.

Addressing stakeholders at the official release, Mr. Haitengela said the occasion marked more than the publication of examination outcomes, noting that the results reflect the combined efforts of learners, teachers, parents, school leaders, and the wider education system. He encouraged all stakeholders to engage thoughtfully with the results by recognising achievements, reflecting on areas for improvement, and reinforcing a shared responsibility toward education.

Mr. Haitengela commended learners for their commitment and perseverance throughout their academic journey, stating that reaching the examination stage was an achievement in itself, regardless of individual results. He highlighted the importance of resilience, particularly in the face of challenges encountered during the learning process.

He also expressed appreciation to principals, teachers, and school leadership for their professionalism and continued support to learners, often under demanding circumstances. Parents and guardians were acknowledged for their ongoing role in creating supportive environments that contribute to learner success.

Learners who qualified for entry into institutions of higher learning and those progressing to Advanced Subsidiary level were congratulated and encouraged to maintain values of discipline, integrity, and excellence as they advance in their studies. Mr. Haitengela also addressed learners who did not meet the minimum progression requirements, reassuring them that examination results do not define their future. He encouraged them to consider alternative pathways and remain committed to their personal development.

In closing, Mr. Haitengela reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to providing quality, equitable, and relevant education. He stated that continued efforts would be made to ensure all learners are supported in reaching their full potential and wished learners confidence and success in their next steps.
