MIRT Showcases Services at Rundu Annual Trade Fair 2025 to Promote Enterprise Growth

MIRT Showcases Services at Rundu Annual Trade Fair 2025 to Promote Enterprise Growth. The Ministry of International Relations and Trade (MIRT) is actively participating in the Rundu Annual Trade Fair 2025, held from 24 October to 1 November at the Rundu Trade Fair Centre. The event, now in its eighth edition, was officially opened on 28 October by the Vice President of the Republic of Namibia, H.E. Lucia Witbooi, under the theme “Empowering Enterprises for Sustainable Growth.”

The trade fair serves as a key platform for businesses, government institutions, and entrepreneurs to network, showcase products and services, and explore opportunities for growth and collaboration. For MIRT, the fair presents an opportunity to engage directly with the public, raise awareness about its mandate, and demonstrate how its services support the development of local enterprises.

Attendees visiting MIRT’s stand in the main hall can learn about the ministry’s initiatives, including support for trade facilitation, investment promotion, and international market linkages. The ministry aims to strengthen public understanding of its role in driving sustainable economic growth while providing guidance and resources for Namibian entrepreneurs seeking to expand their businesses.

Participation in the Rundu Annual Trade Fair aligns with MIRT’s broader strategy to empower small, medium, and micro-enterprises (SMMEs), promote trade awareness, and foster a business-friendly environment across Namibia. Through direct engagement at the fair, MIRT seeks to inspire entrepreneurs to leverage available government support, explore cross-border opportunities, and adopt innovative practices that can enhance competitiveness.

Visitors to the fair are encouraged to visit MIRT’s stand to discuss potential collaborations, access information on trade and investment opportunities, and learn more about how the ministry supports sustainable enterprise growth.
