Windhoek Set for High-Octane Rugby Action at Ongos Valley Sevens. Windhoek is gearing up for one of Namibia’s most exciting rugby weekends as the Ongos Valley Sevens tournament returns to Hage Geingob Stadium on October 24 and 25. The event promises two days of fast-paced, high-intensity rugby action that will draw fans from across the region.

Headlining the competition are the Witz Barbarians Sevens from the Western Cape, who are set to bring their renowned speed and skill to Namibia’s capital. The visiting side joins local and regional teams in what is expected to be a thrilling championship round filled with top-tier competition and sporting energy.

Gates open at 13:30 on Friday, 24 October, and at 07:00 on Saturday, 25 October. Tickets are priced at N$60 per person, with pensioners paying N$50, learners aged 6 to 17 paying N$30, and children under 6 entering free of charge. Tickets are available online via eticket.my.na.

Organizers have urged attendees to take note that no food, drinks, pets, or cool boxes will be allowed into the stadium. With a vibrant crowd expected, the event will offer an electrifying rugby experience complemented by music, entertainment, and community engagement.
