MTC Commits N$350,000 to Support Ongwediva Annual Trade Fair 2025. Mobile Telecommunications Limited (MTC) has pledged N$350,000 in sponsorship to the preparatory committee of the Ongwediva Annual Trade Fair (OATF) 2025. The announcement was made as preparations ramp up for one of Namibia’s most prominent business and trade events, scheduled for 22 to 30 August 2025.

Speaking on behalf of MTC, Corporate Communications Specialist Erasmus Nekundi highlighted the company’s continued commitment to platforms that drive economic activity and enterprise development. “The Ongwediva Annual Trade Fair is a hallmark event that presents the opportunity for economic stimulation and growth, offering businesses and entrepreneurs direct market access,” said Nekundi.

MTC also commended the Ongwediva Town Council and the OATF Preparatory Committee for their leadership and collaboration. “We thank the OATF Committee for always allowing us the opportunity to make a difference through our continuous meaningful partnership,” Nekundi added.

This year’s event will be held under the theme “Innovate, Connect, Prosper”, reflecting the trade fair’s role in fostering innovation, business linkages, and economic prosperity.

The OATF remains a key fixture on Namibia’s trade calendar, offering networking, exposure, and commercial growth opportunities for participants across sectors. MTC’s contribution is expected to support the successful hosting of the event and enhance opportunities for local businesses and entrepreneurs.
