Windhoek Fire Brigade Calls for Vendors Ahead of International Fire Safety Week 2025. The Windhoek Fire Brigade has announced a vendor call for the upcoming International Fire Safety Week 2025, inviting local businesses and service providers to take part in the event. The week-long programme, which promotes fire safety awareness, will also feature family-friendly activities, creating an opportunity for vendors to showcase their products and services to the community.
Applications are open to food vendors, kiddies’ entertainment providers such as face painters, jumping castle operators, and organisers of children’s games. Spaces are limited, and interested participants are encouraged to submit their applications before the deadline of 19 September 2025.
According to the organisers, the initiative is designed not only to enhance the visitor experience during the event but also to give small businesses and entrepreneurs a platform to engage with the public. This aligns with Windhoek’s broader commitment to supporting local enterprise and fostering community participation.
Vendors who wish to participate can download the official application form from the City of Windhoek’s online portal and return the completed document via email to Estelle.Hein@windhoekcc.org.na.
International Fire Safety Week serves as an educational and interactive campaign aimed at promoting safety practices within households, schools, and workplaces. Alongside demonstrations and awareness programmes, the inclusion of vendors is expected to add a vibrant, festive element that draws more families and community members to the activities.
Deadline for applications: 19 September 2025
