NUST to Host Pan-African Conference on Responsible AI and Emerging Tech in Higher Education. The Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST) will host the Association of African Universities (AAU) International Conference on the Responsible Use of Artificial Intelligence and Emerging Technologies in Higher Education (RUAIETH) 2025 from 01 to 03 October in Windhoek, Namibia.

Set to take place at a time when AI is transforming education across the globe, RUAIETH 2025 aims to bring together thought leaders, researchers, policymakers, and innovators from across Africa and beyond to explore the ethical, practical, and strategic use of AI and emerging technologies in higher education.

The conference will feature a dynamic mix of technical presentations, hackathons, interactive workshops, and industry exhibitions. These sessions are designed to promote dialogue around innovation, share best practices, and foster collaboration between academia, industry, and government sectors.

Participants will explore topics ranging from data privacy, digital learning tools, and automation in teaching and assessment, to broader questions about inclusion, governance, and digital transformation in African universities.

The event is open to higher education professionals, entrepreneurs in the tech and edtech space, and students interested in the intersection of technology and education. It presents an important platform for local and continental businesses to engage, exhibit, and network within a rapidly evolving digital ecosystem.

Registration is now open via the official conference website at https://ruaieth.nust.na/registration, with more details available at https://ruaieth.nust.na.
