NamPower Foundation Donates Computers to C. Heuva Secondary School. The NamPower Foundation has donated five computers to C. Heuva Secondary School in the Otjombinde constituency of the Omaheke Region, marking a significant step in enhancing digital learning for students.
The donation follows the renovation of the school’s computer lab by the foundation last year, during which it was discovered that the school lacked computers for student use. Recognizing the need, the NamPower Foundation stepped in to provide the much-needed equipment.
Speaking at the handover ceremony, NamPower Foundation Head, Otilie Mujoro, emphasized the vital role of technology in modern education. “The importance of technology in education cannot be overstated. It is imperative that we equip our learners with the necessary tools and skills required to thrive in an ever-changing world,” she stated.
Accepting the computers on behalf of the school, Golda Kazapua, Head of Department for Languages, expressed gratitude for the contribution. “We are really thankful and appreciative of this gesture, as it means a lot for our learners. Learners can now do research on these computers to make the learning process easier for them,” she said.
The computers are expected to enhance research opportunities for students, giving them access to digital learning resources and improving their overall educational experience.
