Namibia Fish Consumption Promotion Trust Hands Over New Team Bus to Fish Consumption FC. The Namibia Fish Consumption Promotion Trust (NFCPT) has strengthened its commitment to community upliftment and sport development with the official handover of a 23-seater bus to the Fish Consumption Football Club in Ongwediva. The handover took place on 15 October 2025.

Fish Consumption FC, founded in 2013 by employees of the Ongwediva NFCPT branch, has steadily advanced through Namibia’s football structures over the years. What began in the 3rd Division League has now grown into a competitive team in the Oshana 2nd Division, with long term ambitions of reaching the country’s top tier of football.

The provision of a new bus marks a significant milestone for the club, which often travels long distances for fixtures across the region. Reliable transport is essential for teams at this level, not only for match logistics but also for player safety and training consistency. The 23 seater bus is expected to improve the club’s operational capacity and give players a safer, more dependable means of reaching their games.
