Ministry of Industries, Mines and Energy Engages Public at 8th Zambezi Bream Festival

Ministry of Industries, Mines and Energy Engages Public at 8th Zambezi Bream Festival. The Ministry of Industries, Mines and Energy (MIME) has joined the 8th Zambezi Bream Festival and Cultural Expo, bringing essential government services and information directly to the people of the Zambezi Region.

Running from 4–10 August 2025, the Ministry’s presence at the festival underscores its commitment to community engagement, public awareness, and economic empowerment through access to reliable information on its core services.

“We are here to engage, inform, and empower,” a Ministry spokesperson said. “Festivals like this provide a vital platform for connecting with the public outside of traditional office settings. It’s about creating access and opening conversations.

The Ministry’s participation forms part of its broader strategy to decentralise services and ensure that citizens across Namibia, particularly in rural and underserved regions, are aware of how to access government support for economic participation and energy development.

Visitors to the booth can access brochures, speak directly with technical officers, and receive guidance on how to apply for permits, funding support, or navigate energy-related compliance processes.
