FlyNamibia Offers Special Flights for Dr. Sam Nujoma’s State Funeral. FlyNamibia, in partnership with Namibia Airports Company (NAC), Central Oil Namibia, and the Namibia Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), has announced special travel arrangements for those attending the State Funeral of Dr. Sam Nujoma on 1 March 2025.
Recognizing the significance of this national event, FlyNamibia is offering dedicated flights to accommodate the increased travel demand. The airline will provide accessible travel options between Eros Airport in Windhoek and Andimba Toivo ya Toivo Airport in Ondangwa, making it easier for mourners to pay their final respects.
Ticket prices for these flights have been set at N$1,200 for a one-way trip and N$2,400 for a round trip, ensuring a convenient and efficient travel experience for those traveling to honor Namibia’s Founding President.
