CAVB Beach Volleyball Tour 2026: Namibia Hosts Thrilling First Leg. The Confederation of African Volleyball (CAVB) Beach Volleyball Tour 2026 kicked off its first leg at the DTS Beach Volleyball Arena in Windhoek, with teams from across the continent battling for top positions. After the opening day’s matches, the standings in the various pools set the stage for an exciting final day.
In the women’s competition, Namibia’s Pia and Romy Lück lead Pool A, followed by Zimbabwe’s Anna Marova and Chantal Mutede, with Lesotho’s Mareka and Moleboheng in third. Pool B is topped by Moroesi Tolofi and Neo Chapole of Lesotho, while Zambia’s Beene and Matilda and Namibia’s Heita and Mendos trail closely. South Africa’s Anneta Frederiksen and Christin Delcarme dominate Pool C, and compatriots Zeevah Pocock and Natasha Webber lead Pool D.
The men’s pools showcased equally competitive action. Angola’s Eduardo Afonso and Carlos Muondo head Pool A, while Botswana’s Sekao Jack and George Chiswaniso lead Pool B. Namibia’s Daniel and Fabian Pfeifer top Pool C, and South Africa’s Danilo von Ludwiger and Mthokozisi Mndingi lead Pool D. Botswana’s Trevor Manduwa and Mossiwa Baleofi hold first place in Pool E, Zimbabwe’s Kudakwashe Mahachi and Panache Chiguta lead Pool F, and Namibia’s Jan Erik Sack and Marcel Diekmann top Pool G. Pool H is led by Zimbabwe’s Tinoe and Charles.
The DTS Beach Volleyball Arena has provided a vibrant atmosphere, with local fans turning out to support Namibian teams while witnessing high-level competition from across Africa.
