Namibian MSMEs Invited to Connect with Major Retailers at November Buyer Event. Namibian micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) can now apply to participate in the latest edition of Meet the Buyer, an initiative aimed at connecting local businesses with retailers and potential buyers.
The event is being organised by GS1 Namibia in collaboration with the Ministry of International Relations and Trade (MIRT) and the Namibia Investment Promotion and Development Board (NIPDB).
It will take place on Thursday, 19 November 2026, from 15:00 to 16:30 at the Mövenpick Hotel in Windhoek, as part of the upcoming National Youth Trade Forum. Meet the Buyer provides a platform for Namibian MSMEs to present their products directly to key retailers and buyers, with the aim of creating opportunities to access new markets.
The initiative is intended to strengthen connections between local businesses and established buyers, providing smaller enterprises with an opportunity to showcase their products and potentially develop commercial relationships.
Applications are open to Namibian MSMEs interested in participating in the event. Businesses have until 13 November 2026 at 13:00 to submit their applications.
Interested enterprises can apply through the GS1 Namibia website at www.gs1namibia.org/meet-the-buyer.For further information and application enquiries, businesses can contact the organisers on +264 83 343 5801 or email marketing@gs1namibia.org.
The event forms part of activities around the National Youth Trade Forum, bringing together stakeholders involved in trade and business development.
By creating direct engagement opportunities between MSMEs and buyers, Meet the Buyer offers participating businesses a platform to introduce their products to potential retail partners and explore opportunities beyond their existing customer base.
The application deadline is 13 November, giving interested Namibian businesses a limited period to submit their details ahead of the November event.
