Hon. Theresia Brandt Officially Welcomed as Deputy Minister for Justice and Labour Relations. Officials from the Ministry of Justice and Labour Relations today formally welcomed Hon. Theresia Brandt as she assumed her new role as Deputy Minister for Justice and Labour Relations. Hon. Brandt, who also serves as a Member of the National Council, was appointed by President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah last Thursday.

The welcoming ceremony underscored the Ministry’s commitment to supporting the new Deputy Minister in her responsibilities. Mr. Ben Nangombe, Executive Director for Labour Relations, assured Hon. Brandt of the Ministry’s full backing, emphasizing the critical role the institution plays in addressing everyday concerns of citizens. He noted that the Ministry’s work is particularly vital for grassroots communities seeking access to justice and fair labour practices.

Echoing these sentiments, Dr. Audrin Mathe, Executive Director for Justice, reaffirmed the Ministry’s readiness to collaborate closely with Hon. Brandt. He highlighted the Ministry’s 48-hour turnaround time as a demonstration of its commitment to delivering effective and efficient services to the public.
