Namibia Breweries Limited (NBL) has announced a strategic partnership with global energy drink leader Red Bull, positioning NBL as the official distribution partner for Red Bull in Namibia. The collaboration merges Red Bull’s global brand strength with NBL’s extensive local market expertise and distribution network.
The partnership aims to enhance product availability across Namibia, ensuring that Red Bull reaches more consumers while supporting local retailers and communities. NBL, known for its strong presence in the beverage sector, will leverage its national footprint to expand Red Bull’s accessibility through both traditional and modern trade channels.
According to NBL, the collaboration extends beyond logistics and distribution. It reflects a shared commitment to sustainability, innovation, and operational excellence, with both brands focused on delivering products that resonate with Namibian consumers. The range will include the classic 250ml and 355ml cans, as well as sugar-free and multipack options tailored to local preferences.
Set to roll out from Q4 2025, the partnership will strengthen Red Bull’s market presence and drive growth opportunities across Namibia’s fast-moving consumer goods sector. Retailers are expected to benefit from improved supply efficiency, while consumers gain broader access to one of the world’s most recognised energy drink brands.
NBL stated that the alliance also aims to create long-term value within the local value chain, supporting communities and businesses through job creation, logistics partnerships, and community engagement initiatives.
