NFA Confirms Dates and Venues for 2025 First Division Promotion Play-Offs. The Namibia Football Association (NFA) has confirmed the official dates and venues for the 2025 First Division Promotion Play-Offs, a key milestone in the domestic football calendar that will determine which clubs move up into the highly competitive First Division.

In line with Rule 3, clause 3.2 of the NFA Regulations Governing the Method to Promote & Relegate Clubs, the association has notified its member clubs of the schedule well in advance, ensuring transparency and readiness.

Football enthusiasts across the country can gear up for back-to-back weekends of exciting fixtures set for 9–10 August and 16–17 August 2025. The selected host towns for each regional stream are:

• North West First Division – Grootfontein
• North East First Division – Tsumeb
• Southern Stream First Division – Mariental

These play-offs represent more than just sporting competition, they are high-stakes opportunities for local clubs to rise through the ranks and compete at a higher level of the national football structure.

Promotion to the First Division offers clubs increased visibility, access to more competitive matches, and the potential to attract greater investment and local support. It’s also a vital pathway for player development and long-term club sustainability.
