The National Assembly of Namibia has officially confirmed an update to the programme for the upcoming state visit of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. As part of his visit, Prime Minister Modi will now deliver an address to the National Assembly instead of the initially planned Joint Sitting of Parliament.

The address is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, 9 July 2025, at 16:00, at the Parliament Building in Windhoek. The adjustment was announced by the National Assembly earlier this week.
